FOOD AND HEALTH MAIN POINTS

FOOD:

MARIA MUÑOZ
  • Child malnutrition might end in infections and in some cases can lead to death. That’s why we should prevent this disease
  • It is really easy and cheap to end with child malnutrition, we have capacity to end with hunger. We should start to involve this issue to the population,to conscious them it is a simple and effective way to change reality
  • The main The main causes of dead (heart, heart and cancer) have to do with feeding. That’s why having a balanced diet it’s really useful and important

Enrique Martín Fernández

  • Nowadays we are not following one of the most important rights of children which is the right of alimentation and reach in the best conditions to the adulthood.
  • The feeding greatly affects to our quality of life, as for example in African countries people died from malnutrition. In developed countries they die of head, heart and cancer, as the heart dies from cholesterol for example.
  • The food must have a high standard quality; it needs to be hygienic, nutritional, sensory, functional, environmental, culinary, dietary quality.

Berta Nieto Romero
  • It’s necessary to reach an equilibrium between the amount of people and food in an specific area, as the disease of malnutrition is affecting a big global population.
  • For any food to be edible, it has to follow some procedures; as high hygiene, nutrients factors...
  • Malnutrition is passed down to descendents and its a severe illness, society has collaborate to put an end to this

Mónica López Muñoz
  • The world society should know the world problems that exist nowadays and the way in which we could help to the reason. Malnutrition is one of the problems we can find now and that with simple and not very expensive methods is possible to fight. People must be conscious because this type of problems are already so quotidian that they neither impress us and don't even move us to look for solutions.

  • Providing drinkable water and sanitation to those communities that are away from civilization will reduce a 45% the risk of suffering any kind of disease. We could achieve this by using new technologies and transport.

  • In the majority of developed countries there are huge amounts of food that are  produced but not consumed so sending quickly this food excess to those underdeveloped countries without resources would improve the situation of poverty since at least they will have where to eat from.

Carolina Navarro:

  • Only a 40% of the world´s children are fed during the first 6 months of life from breastfed. And it is very important to breastfed becuase the mother´s milk contains lots of nutrients and carbohydrate essential for the development of children.
  • Malnutrition affects both physics and mental development of children. If they grow with mental problems they will no achieve too much challenges in their future, in my opinion this is one of the most serious problem to solve.
  • There are enough tools in order to solve poverty, however, it lacks goodwill. In order to solve all the problems there are in the world in nutrition it is important to have an effort from the society.

HEALTH

María Muñoz
  • Young people usually take drugs to avoid from their problems and to move away from the parents control.
  • Rare diseases affects approximately to 5 or less than 5 people every 10000. 75% of this people at least once have felt discriminated because of their disease. In our country, this type of disease affects more than 3 million people, and in our city nearly 700000
  • The key is on increasing the information about these diseases. Also, promoting the investigation, just as much as technological, biological and social.
Enrique Martín Fernández
  • We are facing with drugs to disease of the 21st century for young people.
  • A rare disease is one that affects five or fewer than five people in a 10,000. An orphan drug is dedicated for those diseases.
  • The main challenge is that a patient does not die on the waiting list. And reach to a point in which all of us were donors to help all those who need it.
Berta Nieto Romero
  • Drugs are a big deal around kids nowadays, they don’t know their complete repercussions and consequences.
  • Young people consume drugs to avoid facing problems due to stress.
  • Increasing the information and publicity of this rare diseases, will help for the patients to fit better in society
Mónica López Muñoz
  • Young people should be aware of the use they make of drugs since they are very susceptible to their consumption as these change their way of thinking, of relating with others and the way in which they deal with certain situations as drugs limit their liberty.
  • Raise awareness of how the human body can help so many people and even saving their lives. Inform people since they have lack of information.
  • How to help to the transplantation of organs process yet being donor or accelerating these processes since the principal challenges regarding to the donation of organs are that people in the waiting-list do not die and that everyone, not mattering their cultural and economic level, has access to transplant.
Carolina Navarro:

  • A rare disease is one that affects 5 out of every 1000 people. In addition, sometimes niether doctors knows what type of disease the patient is suffering. Other times, they know what disease the patient is suffering but they don´t have enought resources to cure it.
  • A person who becomes an organ donor will give 56 years of life to others. An organ can be donate, only if the person dies in the hospital.
  • Our aim: try to keep any death on waiting lists and to have an universal access to transplantation.
